You don't have to know exactly what you need before you ask for help.

Maybe someone gave you this chip because they thought you might need it.

Maybe you scanned the QR code, not sure what to expect.

Maybe you're a veteran, service member, first responder, or family member who has been carrying more than you'd like to admit.

Maybe you're not even sure there's a problem.

That's okay! You don't have to figure that out before you start.

Foxhole Health & Consulting provides confidential mental-health care for veterans, service members, first responders, and their families. Our goal is to create a place where you can talk openly, without judgment, and without feeling like you have to prove that you're struggling enough to deserve help.

You don't need to have a diagnosis.

You don't have to know whether what you're experiencing is PTSD, anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, trauma, or something else.

You don't have to be in the middle of a crisis.

And you don't have to wait until things get really bad.

Sometimes the first step is simply saying:
“Something isn't right, and I think I should talk to someone.”

That's enough.

What can Foxhole help with?
We provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy for adults experiencing concerns such as:
     *Anxiety and depression
     *PTSD and trauma-related symptoms
     *Sleep difficulties
     *Stress and burnout
     *Mood changes
*Difficulty adjusting during/ after military service or a career in public safety
*Medication concerns or complicated medication regimens
*Other mental-health concerns that are affecting your day-to-day life

We also work with older adults experiencing behavioral or psychiatric concerns, including situations involving complicated medications or behavioral issues associated with dementia.

Why Foxhole?
After years of working with veterans, our Founder noticed how often people struggled with mental-health concerns while being reluctant to seek treatment.

Some didn't want to go to the VA.

Some didn't want a diagnosis or a label.

Some simply weren't ready to talk about what had happened.

And many had spent years being the person everyone else depended on.

Foxhole was created for those people. Are you one of them?

You don't have to tell your entire story on the first day.

You don't have to have all the answers.

We can start wherever you are.

Who is Foxhole?
Briefly-- Foxhole was founded by Kim Cafaro, a dual-board certified nurse practitioner who saw a gap in the system and was concerned about veterans, service members, and first responders falling through the cracks.

"My work with veterans has given me a unique understanding of the challenges in certain work cultures... so many service members are told not to complain while they serve, and when they leave the military, they carry that with them. They don't always ask for help. Sometimes they don't trust the system. This applies to first responders as well. They put the job before their own well-being, especially their own mental health...

I'm a person who wants you to ask for help- to improve your quality of life, relationships... everything. Everything you say is completely confidential and never leaves my office."
