Psychiatric Evaluations
Medication Management
A comprehensive assessment designed to understand your symptoms, history, current concerns, and treatment goals. The evaluation provides diagnostic clarification and helps determine whether medication, psychotherapy, additional testing, or other resources may be beneficial.Â
In person or telehealth available
Evidence-based psychiatric prescribing tailored to your individual needs. Treatment recommendations are made collaboratively and may include starting, adjusting, continuing, or discontinuing medications when appropriate.
Â
Not everyone needs medication!
In person or telehealth available
1:1 Talk Therapy
Individual therapy focused on understanding the connection between experiences, thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and, sometimes, physical symptoms. Sessions may include supportive therapy, psychoeducation, stress management, trauma-informed care, and practical strategies to improve overall well-being.
In person or telehealth available
Capacity Evaluations
We provide focused capacity evaluations when clinically appropriate.
Capacity refers to a person's ability to understand information and make a specific decision.
Competency is a legal determination made by a court and is outside the scope of clinical practice.
In-person evaluations preferred, but not required.Â
Services We
Do Not Provide
Acute Crisis Stabilization
We are not a crisis center or an emergency facility. We do not provide 24/7 monitoring or immediate emergency interventions for individuals in active danger to themselves or others. If you are in immediate distress, please call 911, 988, or go to your nearest emergency department.
Advanced Psychotherapy
Care is centered on psychiatric evaluation, and management, which often involves medication.
Â
However, we do provide individual therapy when medication is not the best option.
Â
We can refer you for more intensive or formal therapy if we find that you might benefit more from specialty psychotherapy, including couples' and group therapy.Â
Initial ADHD Evaluations
Please see our Controlled Substances Policy.
Foxhole Health & Consulting is a focused, outpatient psychiatric practice. To ensure quality and consistency of care, there are some services we do not provide:
Court-Ordered Evaluations
Our clinical focus is therapeutic and diagnostic. We do not conduct forensic evaluations for criminal proceedings, custody disputes, or court-mandated treatment programs.
Disability Determinations
Opinions and documentation are provided only following a comprehensive clinical assessment. WE DO NOT MAKE THE FINAL DECISIONS FOR ANY COMPENSATION & PENSION DISABILITY EXAMS. The VBA and Veterans' Affairs make these decisions.

FMLA & Disability Paperwork
We do not offer one-time visits solely for completion of FMLA, disability, or work accommodation paperwork.
These requests are generally best completed by providers who have an established treatment relationship with you. In some circumstances, our consulting services may be appropriate.
Referral Resources
If you require services outside our current scope of practice, we are committed to helping you find the appropriate level of care. This area will be updated with trusted community partners, emergency services, and alternative clinical resources.
