Emergency & Crisis Resources for Veterans
If you landed on this page, it's because someone thought enough of you to pass along a Battle Buddy Card.
A friend gave you this card because they care about you. If you're dealing with stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, or simply feeling stuck, support is available.
If you do not want to get help through Foxhole Health, that's okay. What's important is that YOU get the support you need.
YOU are important. YOUR mental health is important.
If Foxhole Health is not the right fit, we are happy to help connect you with another therapist, psychiatric provider, or mental health resource.
But PLEASE ask for help.
The contact form on this page only requires an email address so we can respond to you. We do not need your name. If you reach out, we can provide information about mental health resources in your area. Unless you tell us otherwise, we will assume you are located in the Des Moines area.
Asking for help is not weakness. It takes courage to reach out when things are difficult.
No one fights alone.
If you are in immediate crisis, call 911, call 988 and press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line, or text 838255.
